A confident Haydock side progressed to the semi-final of the St Helens Cup after a convincing win against a spirited Portico team.On a hot and sticky evening, the large crowd in attendance was treated to a fine display of quality attacking rugby. The win now sets up a mouth watering Semi-Final clash with the old enemy Blackbrook on Wednesday evening 14/5 at Boardmans lane Kick Off 6.30pm.

Haydock brought their league campaign to a close with this crushing victory over St Judes. The Yickers sit at the top of Division One with title rivals Ashton Bears a point behind and a game in hand. The Yickers will be crowned champions if Ashton slip up at Oldham St Annes on Tuesday evening.
